Another Meatloaf Recipe

This was a good one. It was improvized, of course.

Ground beef. The 23% lean was on sale. I usually buy leaner, but it was on sale, and besides, fat tastes good.

One gloop of bloody mary mix. Four or five fat pinches of salt. Shake shake shake of dried peppers (the kind you sprinkle on pizza). Egg. Half diced onion.

And I didn't have bread crumb, so I tried crumbling a crustino... which turned out chunky. So the next crustino, I crushed with the handle of my knife. Poof, it was powder. One hit.

Shape into two logs; bake in 350 preheated oven for 45 minutes. Let stand five minutes.

Serve with steamed rice and a red beer.

Yes, I am single. At least this time, I didn't cover it in bacon, or hide an egg in it. Hee hee.
