Of course I got 26/26 on the distorted tunes test.
Tone deafness is nurture, not nature. Sometimes when I need people to sing in tune, I just tell them to sing louder and make mistakes. The truth is that when self-diagnosed "tone deaf" people actually sing loud enough to hear themselves, and with enough air to control, it's actually more difficult for them to sing off key. They will migrate to the correct note without any instruction.
Singing quietly is like figure skating slowly; the less velocity you provide, the less control you will have.
My head hurts and I need to go to sleep. TGTomorrowIF.

I finally took the distorted tunes test. Waiting for the first note to go wrong was almost as tense as waiting for someone to discover about Ennis and Jack!
