An Evening at the Cinema

So I went with H last night to see the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. There were some people with towels and one dude with a crazy spinny rave light.

It was funny, because it was definately a scifi crowd; groups of gentlenerds and their lady counterparts. The studio, however, took one look at the cast and decided that it was a romantic comedy based on a british novel, so they ran trailers for the new JLo/Jane Fonda movie. We were all pretty baffled.

I'm pretty psyched about the new Star Wars movie. The theater lied to my friend Y about when the tickets would go on sale, so we missed out on tickets for the midnight premier. He called the other day to tell me he had two tickets to the 3am show. Thursday, 3am.

At first, I thought, no way, I gotsta work in the morning. I thought about taking a personal day. Now, I'm actually planning to just do it. On wednesday afternoon I'll take a long nap, wake up at 1:30 and trek down to Belltown. We'll see.

I'm watching "Red Dawn" on tv right now. It must really suck to be occupied by another country's military.
