Asian Moment

Today on the 10 o'clock news the white anchor was out sick, so both anchors are asian. This is not uncommon in Seattle, and I don't think anyone bats an eyelash.

So the weather guy shows pictures of pets that people send in. Today, he showed a not very good picture of the heads of two dogs, one in the forground and another in the background. Well, poor weather guy didn't have his notes, and he was scrambling a little bit for the title of the picture, as well as the viewer who had sent in the picture.

So as he was fumbling for the names, and Mr. Weatherman said, "well, the dog's name is Scooby."

"What's Scooby's friend's name?" asked one asian american anchor.

"Snack." says the other anchor.

It's a special day when we can be on tv and call a dog a snack.

PS. By the way, at the end of the newscast, the weather dude came back and said that the dogs' real names were Julio and Scooby. Gotsta site your sources.
