Welcome Julie, or should I say Julia, to the blogosphere! She is my friend because she uses big words like "incongruent," a word which in itself is amoral. But when J says it it, it somehow sounds deliciously biting.

I'm in San Mateo, California, right now, getting over a nasty case of strep and spending my Christmas with my mama's side of the family for once. It's awesome. I want to count how many times my auntie R says "animal ka" any sentence starting with "bao . . " My cousin F theorizes that other Pangasinan speaking people are not so potty-mouthed, just us. Hmph.

I should journal all the stuff that's happened so far, like the driving tour, the big rip off in chinatown, the fisherman's wharf bullshit, the naughty yoda, the open mic night with F, the secret gift wrapping workshop . . . .

I'll do that later. Right now I should get dressed so I can enjoy this sunny day. By the way, we've been nothing but cold here in San Francisco. Seriously, we are not this cold in Seattle. Auntie R thinks were ambagel of course, and quotes the weather channel to us, but we know the truth.

More later.
