It's Labor Day Monday. I'm already out of money for the month; I sat down to look at my bills yesterday and there's absolutely no wiggle room. I'll be eating a lot of rice in September. I can't wait for H to come home and start paying rent again. Cooking for two is cheaper anyway.

Yesterday my friend B showed up at my door with his baby. From now on, I'm going to keep the living room well vaccuumed.

Last night I went to karaoke at Vito's on First Hill. It was dead at first, and Billy the Host kept yapping on and on about how he's from a small town. I do expect a certain degree of sophistication from a karaoke host nowadays. A lot of them just have a great love for karaoke. It's not enough.

After karaoke a drunk guy caught us standing on the street corner laughing at M's bastos Family Circus. We decided to meet at Dicks afterward, but when I drove up I saw STUDENTS. So I ditched.
