Geez, single digits

My readership numbers have crashed down to single digits. I'm not sure if the people that subscribe to the feed are counted or not, but yesterday, Sunday, I had three hits.

Three hits! Good thing my self esteem is not tied to my numbers.

In other news, my house is a mess, my workshop is over, I want to write some bossa nova songs, I have a day off from work tomorrow, but of course I have meetings.

So here's some puppies.

Maybe it's time to open up for questions. Does anyone have any questions for me?

I was one of the three! I added you to my Bloglines when you subbed for bitchphd. (There are 13 people who share that feed, so you are *never* in single digits there).

Three hits! Wow.

I'm reading the Ken Jennings book, Brainiac. He mentioned something along the lines of writing trivia questions being as format-bound as writing haiku or villanelles. I know haiku, but I'd never heard of the villanelle poem structure. So I Googled it—something like 19 lines split into 3/3/3/3/3/4 stanzas, with a specific rhyme scheme and repetition of certain lines, as in "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night." Now, you could have another poetry contest using the villanelle format, but good gravy, that would be hard work.

So how about a liberal knock-knock joke festival?

Who's there?

Kerry who?

Kerry on my wayward son.

The puppies picture I like better than the sausage picture you had up a while ago. Just so's you know. They're cuter.

Need another way to boost your blog traffic & procrastinate grading? join me doing nanowrimo - It's a terrible idea, so it will be a lot of fun. I put up posters today on campus because my write-in group "peer" pressured me into it.

Question: what is the most difficult superpower to deal with as it emerges during adolescence?

quit bitching, youve got hits from all over the globe.
also: postings about how tired you are, or how busy - only your mother cares.
