Rest In Peace

Luna the Orca whale was killed by a tugboat.

She was separated from her pod as a one year old five years ago. Orca advocates told the public to leave her alone. Of course people promptly went out on their boats and found her and pet her, and fed her, and talked to her.

And of course she became familiar with human contact, and today she was sucked into a propellor shaft and chopped into chum.
