What I missed.

Ok, so apparently, while I was in France this summer there was a big story here in Washington about a man who died of injuries related to having sex with horse. I'm just finding out about it this week, due to all the year-in-review stories in the papers and on tv; actually the first I heard of it, they were discussing the year's biggest stories on KUOW's Weekday (I think), where listeners confirmed that man vs. horse is the most talked about news story of 2005, hands down, beating out such tsunami, hurricanes, and war in Iraq.

So now people want to make bestiality illegal in Washington.

Folks, I'm neither an opponent of bestiality, nor am I an advocate. I would just like to point out that the practioners of bestiality are probably not concerned with the legality of the activity. Seriously, jail time to me just seems less scary than dying of a horse-inflicted puncture to the upper colon.

And now that I've committed these thoughts of mine to posterity, I will pick up my guitar and write a very sad, sad song. About lonliness.
