The Rain

So we're looking at 26 straight days of rain in this state, approaching the record of 33 straight days of rain, set back in the 50s. No, it has not rained continuously for 26 straight days; I've even seen some sunshine in the last couple of days. But it has rained here every day, and rained a lot. Rivers are flooding and the Governor has declared a state of emergency. We're fine here in the city, but the neighbors have been noticing leaks. I've been lucky so far (toca madera).

So those Seahawks... there's a playoff game against Washington this weekend. I might even watch. Probably not.

Tomorrow I'm cleaning the house, and then I have to have to have to check myself in to grading hell. It's gonna happen.

Apparently Alaska Airlines's fares have dropped. There have been safety issues, emergency landings in the news. Today they canceled flights due to an erupting volcano in Alaska.

Well, folks, enjoy the rest of Friday the 13th.
