Lovely Day

Lunch today was a picnic from Maruta. I met H at Golden Gardens, and we sat on a dune and ate our sushi/sashimi/ocean salad.

For dinner, L showed up, washed her feet, and then we met H at Ho Ho Seafood for salt & pepper crab, steamed dumplings, and fried rice.

Also today, I found some nice looking bottles of wine for under $4. The wine was nasty, so I poured it out, soaked off the labels, and filled them with drinking water. So the next time I have people over for dinner, I can serve them from these refilled wine bottles.

I had been thinking about buying a pitcher, but these wine bottles are a better solution. I learned this trick in France. I also bought some tops for the bottles, they actually cost more than the wine itself.
