Sorry, I have no memory of how I found your blog. 'Twas a long time ago. Did you link to me? Are you blogrolled on someone else's blog I read? No idea.
I read it b/c it's interesting. I kind of like the mildly snarky tone, and the recipes, and the slice of Seattle life, and the teaching stuff. And food talk is always good.
i read because you crack me up, dude. and then you tell me what's in your fridge, and then what you had for dinner, and then you write this really great insightful thing. oh, and you pay me to read. i forgot about that.
i read because this is the only way you and i will know what's going on with each other - you hate the midwest, i don't know when i'll scrape up enough dough to visit seattle and, well, this is the closest thing we have to a visit.
Me, same as D. Reading your posts brings to my mind the fun and wacky times in grad school, the best part of grad school. -- J
yeah, you guys WERE the best part of grad school. how extremely funny that we all chucked it!!
remember that professor who lectured about academic ethics to a roomful of students of color and said we had to be careful of a 'black mark' on our name? heh. that was funny.
