Thanksgiving break was nice. Didn't do much all day, went to Uwajimaya fish counter for mussles. (D doesn't eat mussles because they look like a pipit). We showed up at Auntie E's and Uncle T's at 5. C and M showed up with little pecan minitarts. M commented that they were kind of like a pie, but kind of like a cookie; of course C said 'then it's a puki'. Bastos, di ba? I made a lot of puki jokes. Auntie E said a nice grace; more evidence that they're not Catholic. We had turkey that was cooked in a bag, potatos, gravy, shrimp with snow peas, mussles with sausages in a sake broth, thin steaks, lumpia, shrimp and pork fried wontons. Pumpkin pie (are you supposed to warm pumpkin pie?) and C's puki. Bastos!

Thanksgiving Friday was a cowsin night. I wanted to make an apple crisp, and we also had breakfast for dinner. I made french bread french toast and a fry up with eggs, sausages, tomatos and onions. We watched White Chicks.

Thanksgiving Saturday I made plans to go to dinner and Ikea with H at 5 pm. 5pm rolled around and half an hour later she still didn't show up, so I called her. She had forgotten about me. Screw that, I made myself some fried rice. Finally she showed up with M and L at 6:30, and by 7 we were finally on our way to Ikea. I bought a shoe rack. We did not find a tree skirt.

The tree is up, by the way, and it looks nice. Thanks for asking!

Anyway, we hooked up the magic mic and did some home karaoke, and then my friends called, J, K, M, and B. H, M, and L came along. L and M did Barbie World; H did Milkshake; M did Open Your Heart. They are dirty! I sang a couple songs, it was unremarkable.

Back to school this morning, Giving Tree Assembly went well. I need to grade. Tomorrow I will. Manana. Right now I'm going to bed.
